System 65 - Reversing Wheels  

  Tread segments are made from GS (cast steel) or welded design, hub from GG (grey cast iron) or welded design. Bolts to strength class 8.8, lock nut V to DIN 980-8 (ISO 2358). Hub is drilled to tolerance fit and keyed. Guide disc diameter for tread diameter up to 1010 mm = outside diameter + approx. 400 mm, for tread diameter up to 1110 mm = outside diameter + approx. 500 mm.

Due to directionally-compensated drive system, no counterweight tensioning is required at the return point. The chain is reversed free of tension, reducing tractive forces on the chain and surface pressure in the interlink areas, all of which serves to minimize wear!
